Born in Bahrain, I have lived my whole life in New Zealand but am about to depart on an intrepid journey, to England and beyond, leaving my poor friends and family to weep on my departure. I shall be missed by all including an unknowing Auckland food eating public who will miss out on the Epicurean delights I serve regularly at the World Famous Vinnies of Ponsonby.
